Now to answer some questions you may have!
What do you specialize in?
- Process Development and Creative Production
What IS process development and creative production? I research materials and build the step-by-step process required to create tangible items out of ideas or photos. Followed by hand made production of the final product.
How in the world did you get into that? I've always been creative, curious and drawn to learning the techniques required for each specific medium. Over the years, I developed a well rounded knowledge of a wide range of materials. A "creative jack of all trades", if you will.
What programs do you know/use? Photoshop and InDesign are my go-to programs. I also have a bunch of machines and tools that I use, including sewing machines, a serger, a die-cutting machine, heated knives, a laminator, etc.
What's the hardest project you've had to figure out so far? Hands down, the most frustrating was a chunky knit blanket I decided to make for my parents. Leave it to me to jump into my first knitting project using PVC pipe cut into two 4-foot "knitting needles". It was the first time I cried during a project, after having to scrap hours worth of work, on three separate occasions, during the first week.
